The Panhellenic Council governs the collective sorority community at Ashland University and promotes each chapter’s involvement in academics, philanthropy, unity and service. Membership consists of women from each of the sororities on campus. Not only do these women provide services to the sorority community year-round, but they also serve as recruitment guides to help potential new members through the formal recruitment process. The Panhellenic Council facilitates the formal recruitment process that occurs on campus during the fall semester.
Other programs and activities presented by the Panhellenic Council include educational forums and visits from speakers who cover relevant topics Each semester, the Panhellenic Council holds an all-sorority workshop to deepen the bonds between chapters on campus. They also work closely with the Interfraternity Council to maintain positive relationships with fraternities on campus. Their cooperation ensures the success of the all-Greek educational forums, as well as Greek Weekend and the Lip Sync (two fun-filled and friendly competitions held every year at Ashland University).
Ashland University Panhellenic Council and its member organizations are affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference.
